    • Cancer chemotherapy is an additional application to surgical operations and radiotherapy in the treatment of widespread tumors. An anthracycline-derived antibiotic, epirubicin (EPI) is one of the clinically used antineoplastic drugs. In this study the cytotoxic effects of EPI in transformed mouse fibroblasts (L-cell) were examined. EPI concentrations of 0.001 µg/ml, 0.01 µg/ml and 0.1 µg/ml were applied to the cells for 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32 hours.
