In this study, the age distribution, gender, growth, weight, length, length and weight relationship and the condition factor of Capoeta tinca (Heckel, 1843) living in Delice Canal of Kizilirmak River were studied. The specimens examined consisted 48.61% females and 41.11 % males. The age of the animals ranged between 1-VII. The length distribution according to the gender was found statistically significant only in age group II. The difference between the age average weight of the species on the other hand was statistically significant in age groups II, III, IV and V. The length of the specimens were observed to range between 47-310 mm and the weight between 6-353 g. The difference in Condition factor between the males and females was found statistically significant in age group II.
