ABSTRACT The field of Strategy ,& Organizations ,has ,for long ,dealt with the relationship between,strategy and structure. The original issue governing structure design – i.e., ways of dividing the work – has evolved to the more complex concept of ‘management model’, where assumptions about processes, incentives structure and organizational culture also have to be dealt with. On the other hand, approaches in strategy are evolving from the static issue of competitive ,positioning to ,a deeper understanding,of how they develop and resist competition and innovation threats. Such ,dynamic ,approaches ,bring ,management ,models discussion to a new level of complexity, demanding new concepts and references for organizational design. STRATEGY AND MANAGEMENT: A BASIC APPROACH Recent advances,in the Business Strategy literature have allowed discussions in regard to context and strategic process, which were usually separate, to converge. "Strategic content" is what the business does, or should do, inorder to be competitive.
