Summary: "Helicobacter pylori. Clinical Manifestations, Diagnostic Studies and Treatment" Helicobacter pylori is a bacterium that has a direct relation with the development of the gastroduo- denal disease. It was discovered by the scientists Robin Warren and Barry Marshall in 1.982, which was worth the prize nobel to them. The infection is acquired in early ages. In its patogenia develops an immunological answer, which takes to inflammation and erosion of the gastric mucosa, which leads to the formation of ulcer, chronic gastritis, and possible gastric cancer. This way the correspon- ding clinical manifestations appears according to the disease, pain, nauseous, dispepsia, loss of weight. There are so many diagnostic studies, like invasive and noninvasive methods, serologic test , test of ureasa, polymerase chain reaction, histopatology ; as well as the different guidelines from treatment and it is recognized the triple inhibitor of the pump of protons, claritromicine and amoxicilin like eradication therapy during one to two weeks.
