BackgroundInguinal nodes dissection is associated with high rates of morbidity, lymphedema in particular is a chronic disabling condition which is a common complication following this operation. Prevention or minimization of this condition is an important aim when considering this procedure. Many technical modifications are suggested for this purpose. This systematic review aims at assessing the efficacy of the available strategies to reduce the risk and severity of leg lymphedema.
