This paper prwents a
mathematical model
for calculating 3D linear magnetostatic fields with open boundaries. In using this improved method (based on integral equations and surface magnetic charge) we avoid several problems in computing the field inside magnetic materials. In this way we obtain procedures to compute magnetic fields in free space,
iron
and on the boundary thus reducing computational cost. The proposed approach was used to solve some given examples and compared to mults obtained analytically.
