In this paper, we propose a fast and efficient algorithm for the calculation of lightning radiated electromagnetic (EM) fields in the space. These macromodel-based calculations will be done using a mixed timefrequency domain method. Vector Fitting algorithm is employed to trace the poles/residues position of the channel-base current-radiated electromagnetic fields system transfer function in different points of the space. The spatial representation of the poles and residues locations will result in efficient calculation of the induced voltage on the frequency dependant multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) over a lossy ground.
