This paper is an extension of previous work, in which an analytical approach for modeling and analysis of interaction between two service levels (connection-level and packet-level) in packet-oriented multi-service wireless systems was introduced. The work proposes a more general and more detailed performance analysis of wireless large-scale queueing networks. A new unified analytical model, which combines both loss and queuing systems with multi-rate traffic streams, has been applied for theoretical performance study of multi-service wireless systems with WCDMA radio interface. The key features
